What You’ll Do

Lead supplier industrialisation activities from prototype through serial production, ensuring designs are manufacturable, repeatable and ready to scale

Assess and optimise manufacturing methods including CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, plastics manufacturing, additive manufacturing and mechanical assembly

Drive design-for-manufacture, design-for-assembly and value‑engineering initiatives to improve cost, lead time, quality and production robustness

Evaluate supplier capability, capacity and manufacturing resilience to support long‑term production scalability

Challenge manufacturing routes, materials, tolerances, specifications and tooling concepts to ensure commercially viable and scalable production solutions

Support supplier qualification, capability assessments, first article inspections, process validation and production ramp‑up activities

Drive supplier performance improvements through industrialisation, corrective actions, manufacturing process optimisation and capability development

Use manufacturing, quality, delivery and cost data to identify risks, prioritise improvement activities and support supplier development decisions

Work across Engineering, Production, Quality and Procurement to resolve manufacturing constraints, improve supplier performance and enable successful production ramp‑up

Translate manufacturing evidence, supplier capability assessments and industrialisation plans into clear technical recommendations
