Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: International Project Leader (32-40 hours)
Location: Zetten

Foundation Er op uit! has developed and implemented a Sunday school program in several countries of Africa and India. The method consists of providing children Biblical education and teaches them sustainable agriculture. Building a personal relationship with God and putting faith into practice is central to the lessons. All facets of life are addressed in this process. (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). .

In disseminating the method, we focus on churches in rural areas, where Sunday school is often limited and sustainable agriculture is of great value. The method is received with open arms by the churches in these countries, but there are major challenges in rolling it out.

Our strategy for distributing the method

We are a small foundation based in Zetten, the Netherlands. The core team consists of two people: a director for 32 hours and a trainer for 30 hours per week. In addition, several people are involved on a freelance basis. The workload is now becoming overwhelming, and therefore we are looking for employees.

Our challenge for you

We are looking for an experienced professional who can, on the one hand, take on executive tasks to relieve the director and, on the other, network in the Netherlands and internationally. Regarding the latter, there must be a willingness to travel regularly (3 or more times a year) to Africa or Asia to build relationships with (new) partners and churches. You will convey the vision and help them develop plans to successfully roll out the method in their country or church.

The partners require regular coaching and advice during the first two years regarding budgeting and the organization of training.

It is extremely important that you are able to empathize with the local challenges of our partners and guide them with empathy and patience. Within the organization, there are tasks such as accounting, fundraising, communication, website management, and many other executive duties that require attention. A division of tasks will be made between you and the director so that he can focus on the development of follow-up lessons.

Employment Relationship

You can do this work as a volunteer or in an employment relationship.
If you become employed by the foundation, this follows the principle of Ministry Partnership Development. People who become employees raise their own donations for their salary. This is a step of faith.
Together with you, we determine what you need to provide for your livelihood. This is the starting point for involving partners in your ministry. We will guide and train you in this. To provide you with some more information about this, we refer you to /
The operating expenses are paid by the foundation.
