Senior Equipment Engineer Fill & Finish

Job Overview  Senior Equipment Engineer – Fill & Finish (Sassenheim, Netherlands)
Responsibilities   Own and serve as system owner for Fill & Finish equipment, leading acute troubleshooting and providing hands‑on support to maintain cGMP batch integrity.
Translate technical transfer requirements into clear procedures, training, and qualifications for operators.
Analyze equipment performance and key performance indicators, identify high‑impact improvement opportunities, and implement changes that enhance safety, quality, reliability, and cost.
Plan, prioritize, and manage system and process changes (0–12 month horizon) and lead system‑related projects with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.
Ensure equipment remains in a validated state, maintain up‑to‑date documentation, and confirm production capacity meets planning and quality requirements.
Produce equipment status reports—including uptime, downtime, lifecycle, and capacity—and proactively drive cost and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements   Bachelor’s degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, biomedicine, process technology, or equivalent.
4–6 years of experience as a manufacturing specialist in a biotechnology or biopharmaceutical environment.
Proven knowledge in at least one of the following:
Annex 1, drug product filling, visual inspection, or DS labelling.
Practical experience working in cGMP environments with EHSS standards.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (B2 minimum);
Dutch language skills are a plus.
Positive, proactive, decisive, and organized approach with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in teams.

Compensation  Base salary range: €53,500.00 – €85,445.00 per year.
