Intern Specialized Nutrition - Infant Formula Shelf-Life Stability

Wageningen (NL). Duration: 6 months, starting September 2026.

We invite you to contribute to the development of high‑quality infant formula products for the brand Friso, focusing on understanding and optimizing product behavior during accelerated storage conditions.

Collect information about current knowledge, prepare a research proposal, perform lab trials and analyses, interpret and present results to stakeholders, and write a final report.

• Final year of a relevant MSc/BSc study (e.g., Food Technology) with good foundation in food technology and food ingredients, and basic knowledge of dairy technology and processes.
• Interest in the physical and chemical stability of complex food systems, including the influence of formulation, processing, and storage conditions on product quality throughout shelf life.
• Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written, and ability to work independently with strong project planning and organisational skills.
• Proactive, hands‑on mentality, flexible, and creative.

• 1 vacation day per month (full‑time internship).
• Internship compensation: €500 (HBO) and €600 (WO) level on a full‑time basis.
