This position entails developing innovative ideas and methodologies to address both new and existing research questions. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues to create analytical tools that facilitate the implementation of the acquired knowledge throughout the organization, thereby enhancing the impact of our findings.

• Actively contribute to discussions on experimental designs and provide expert advice in this area
• Be responsible for analyzing results derived from experiments such as QTL mapping and GWAS. Communicate and present your findings effectively, in a concise and comprehensible manner.

As a Researcher Biostatistics, you will be a member of the department of Biostatistics, a diverse and international team of people enthusiastic about statistics, genetics and biostatistical data analysis in general.

You have a keen interest in plant breeding, statistical genetics and trait inheritance. You enjoy helping colleagues with setting up experiments and analyzing the data gathered therein. You like to work in an interdisciplinary environment, and your communication skills enable you to easily interact with others within and outside the company. In addition, we can find the following on your CV: A background in animal or plant breeding, with a strong focus on statistical genetics

Educational level:
PhD, or MSc with relevant working experience

Experience with coding in RProficiency in English
