Grand Plaza Eibergen is an all-inclusive restaurant where guests can enjoy an extensive buffet featuring a wide range of international cuisines for a fixed price. Grand Plaza Eibergen is seeking a passionate and skilled Independent Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. If you thrive in a professional kitchen environment and take pride in delivering high-quality dishes, we would love to hear from you.

As an Independent Chef, you will be responsible for the preparation, presentation, and quality of various dishes. You will work under the supervision of our Head Chef or owner but are also capable of managing the kitchen independently. In addition, you will collaborate with fellow chefs and supervise assistant kitchen staff when necessary. You will adhere to established standards regarding ingredients, recipes, working methods, and presentation.

• Selecting, preparing (washing, cutting, mixing, etc.) and cooking dishes according to established recipes
• Conducting quality checks (doneness, flavor, color, etc.) and making adjustments as required
• Maintaining consistent quality, presentation, and hygiene standards
• Coordinating and supervising assistant cooks and kitchen staff
• Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and inspecting deliveries
• Ensuring a clean and safe working environment, including daily cleaning of workstations and equipment
• Reporting and resolving minor technical malfunctions
• Contributing ideas for menu development and improvements
