Logistics Coordinator

For an international logistics organization in the Herten area, we are looking for a Logistics Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of warehouse associates. You will ensure that activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in line with established quality standards. In addition, you will play an important role in process improvements, employee training, and achieving operational goals.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact on the warehouse floor. You will support the Team Leader in daily operations and ensure that employees clearly understand their responsibilities. You will monitor productivity, quality, and performance within your department and take action whenever necessary.

Your responsibilities include:

• Coordinating daily warehouse operations;
• Assigning tasks and monitoring progress;
• Supervising, coaching, and training warehouse associates;
• Ensuring accuracy and quality of completed work;
• Identifying process improvements and actively contributing to Lean initiatives;
• Recognizing operational bottlenecks and reporting them to management;
• Maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with safety procedures;
• Assisting in resolving operational and personnel-related issues;
• Promoting a positive team atmosphere and strong collaboration on the work floor.

The shift allowance is as follows:

• Monday - Friday:
  • 00:00 – 06:00 45%
  • 06:00 – 19:00 0%
  • 19:00 – 21:00 25%
  • 21:00 – 24:00 35%
• Saturday
  • All hours 50%
• Sunday and Holidays
  • All hours 100%

• Completed vocational (MBO) education, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field;
• At least 3 years of experience in a logistics or operational environment;
• Willing to work in 2 shifts (06.00 – 15.00 en 15.00 – 00.00);
• Experience leading, coaching, or coordinating employees;
• Strong communication skills in English, being able to speak Dutch as well is preferred;
• Knowledge of Lean Warehousing principles or willingness to develop in this area.

• A temporary (~9 months) challenging position within a growing international organization;
• Gross monthly salary between €2730,30 and €3744,54 (excluding shift allowance);
• A high level of responsibility and autonomy;
