Operational Controlroom Specialist - Bleiswijk

As Operational Control Room Specialist, you ensure that logistics processes and flows run smoothly! You allocate resources, machinery, and workstations correctly based on the production schedule. You do this daily. You maintain an overview of the processing of incoming and outgoing orders, intervening in any deviations. If this occurs, you know how to implement the appropriate corrections. In short, an important role in which you ensure that the workload is distributed to maximize efficiency, productivity, capacity, and fulfillment.

• Create pick‑up batches to ensure correct buffers for operations.
• Monitor logistics flows/processes in the warehouse system.
• Keep operations informed through performance updates.
• Allocate resources, workstations, and machinery based on the production schedule.
• Communicate with operations about work allocation and necessary adjustments to the various logistics flows, parameters, and workstations.

You’ll be working at our Bleiswijk location, where we have a warehouse no less than 140,000 m². This location handles logistics for Zalando: a major customer in eCommerce, specialized in shoes, clothing, and fashion accessories. Automation is a key focus in this warehouse. You’ll become part of the Control room Team, which includes other Operational Control room Specialists, Process Control room Specialists, Equipment Control room Specialists, and IT Control room Specialists.

The atmosphere is characterized by passion and professionalism, with plenty of room for fun and connection! You’ll report to the Control room Team Lead and work day, evening, and night shifts.

• A completed MBO level 4 or HBO in logistics or a similar field.
• Relevant work experience in a logistics or production environment.
• Knowledge and skills in Excel.
• Professional command of speaking and writing in English.
• Flexible attitude to work in shifts.

• A gross monthly salary between € 2.754 and € 3.793 plus 8% holiday allowance (scale depends on your work experience and education level, among other things).
