Principal Low-Power Wireless SoC Architect

On-site / Hybrid

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Wireless SoC Architect to define and lead the architecture of next-generation low‑power wireless SoCs for high‑growth semiconductor applications.

Working across RF, Analog, Digital and Embedded Software teams, you will own system‑level architecture from concept through production, influencing both product strategy and technical direction.

Wireless SoC Architecture & Technical Leadership (40%)

• Define end-to-end architecture for next-generation low‑power wireless So Cs
• Lead system partitioning across RF, Analog, Digital and Embedded Software
• Drive architectural decisions balancing performance, power, silicon area and cost
• Own technical direction throughout the full product lifecycle

Cross-Functional Engineering Leadership (25%)

• Act as the technical lead across multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Align RF, Analog, Digital, Software and Validation teams towards common technical goals
• Provide architectural guidance throughout development
• Present technical decisions to engineering and executive stakeholders
• Optimise overall SoC performance, power consumption and cost
• Oversee package and PCB integration considerations
• Support validation, qualification and production readiness
• Contribute to long-term product and technology roadmaps
• Benchmark competitive solutions and evaluate emerging technologies
• Influence future wireless platform strategy

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline
• 15+ years' semiconductor industry experience
• Strong understanding of RF CMOS integration and system-level design
• Track record delivering complex SoCs from concept through production
• Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills

• Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or similar wireless technologies
• Wireless connectivity So Cs
• Advanced CMOS nodes (22nm and below)
• Automotive or Medical semiconductor products
• Product roadmap ownership

• Define the architecture of next-generation wireless semiconductor platforms
• Highly influential technical leadership role with genuine strategic impact
• Work across RF, Analog, Digital and Embedded Software disciplines
• Shape future product roadmaps and long-term technology strategy
• Lead products from concept through production
