As an Application Engineer , you are the primary technical partner for our sales teams and customers throughout the solution evaluation and proposal phase. By combining your engineering expertise with a customer-focused approach, you develop innovative assembly concepts tailored to customer needs. Working closely with sales, engineering teams, and suppliers, you contribute directly to project success and customer satisfaction.

• Review customer specifications and products to develop assembly concepts based on our standard assembly platforms
• Support customers in optimizing product designs and assembly processes
• Organize and coordinate feasibility studies in collaboration with internal engineering teams
• Obtain supplier quotations and manage the procurement of subsystems required for proposed solutions
• Develop detailed project cost estimates as a basis for commercial proposals
• Prepare quotations and present technical solutions to customers as part of the sales team
• Maintain a high level of expertise regarding our products, technologies, and applications
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the sales process

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Initial experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an advantage
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, electrical control systems, and assembly technologies
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical mindset and solution-oriented approach
