QC Specialist – Empower Custom Fields Neuc

Our client is a leading international pharmaceutical company with a strong presence in Switzerland and a global workforce dedicated to advancing innovative healthcare solutions.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a highly regulated GMP environment, supporting laboratory operations through the configuration, verification and maintenance of analytical data management systems within Waters Empower software.

As the subject matter expert for Empower Custom Fields, you will:

• Create, configure, maintain and deploy Custom Field calculations within Waters Empower
• Support implementation of current and future analytical methods through appropriate Custom Field design
• Perform and document verification testing to ensure accurate and compliant functionality
• Support analytical workflows, calculations, reporting requirements and product-specific method needs
• Manage the lifecycle and harmonisation of existing Custom Fields
• Maintain GMP documentation related to Empower configuration activities
• Participate in data standardisation initiatives across products and analytical methods
• Ensure compliant management of Empower master data and configurations
• Work independently while managing priorities in a fast-paced laboratory environment

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Laboratory Science, or a related field
• Advanced experience with Waters Empower software
• Ability to translate analytical method requirements into Empower Custom Field configurations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured working style
• Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills
• Fluent in English or French; knowledge of both languages is considered an advantage
