Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manufacturing Manager to lead quality activities within a highly advanced semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Reporting into senior IC Operations leadership, you will play a central role in ensuring manufacturing excellence across Front-End wafer fabrication. You will combine quality leadership, semiconductor process knowledge and continuous improvement to strengthen production performance and meet demanding automotive and customer standards.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone comfortable working across manufacturing, engineering, quality and customer-facing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead manufacturing quality activities across Front-End semiconductor operations.
  • Drive a strong zero-defect culture throughout production and engineering teams.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and automotive quality requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional investigations into critical manufacturing and quality issues.
  • Chair and coordinate the Process Change Review Board (PCRB) and ensure industrial changes are properly assessed, documented and controlled.
  • Monitor and improve key manufacturing KPIs including yield, scrap, process stability and non-conformities.
  • Strengthen the use of Statistical Process Control (SPC), automated monitoring and measurement analysis.
  • Lead Material Review Board (MRB) activities, including risk assessment, containment and disposition of non-conforming material.
  • Drive structured root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for recurring production issues.
  • Coach operational and engineering teams in advanced problem-solving methodologies.
  • Lead internal and external manufacturing audits and ensure effective closure of findings.
  • Develop quality and continuous-improvement roadmaps to strengthen manufacturing performance.
  • Manage technical investigations related to customer quality claims and ensure robust, data-driven responses.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing, process engineering, operations, customer quality and international stakeholders.
Your Profile
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Microelectronics, Electronics, Physics or a related engineering discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience within advanced industrial or semiconductor manufacturing environments.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Quality Management.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and wafer fabrication.
  • Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
  • Strong practical experience with SPC, root-cause analysis, process optimization, non-conformance management and manufacturing audits.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification with strong Lean Manufacturing experience.
  • Proven experience managing complex industrial projects from definition through implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing manufacturing quality escalations and customer-facing technical issues.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and a structured, data-driven approach to problem solving.
Leadership & Working Style

You are a pragmatic and technically credible quality leader who is comfortable working both at operational level and with senior management.

You know how to manage competing priorities, lead teams through complex quality situations and transform manufacturing data into practical actions.

You bring strong communication and negotiation skills, a collaborative leadership style and the ability to work effectively with international teams and demanding customers.
