We are seeking reliable and responsible School Crossing Guards to join our team that is committed to Keeping Kids Safe in Summerlin. As a School Crossing Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of children and pedestrians crossing the street on the way to and from school. You will be working in school neighborhoods, interacting with parents, children, and other members of the community.
Basepay range
$17.00/hr - $17.00/hr
CompensationLas Vegas School Crossing Guards earn $17.00 per hour. Work 1 hour before school and 1 hour after school. If both before and after school shifts are worked, earn $34.00 per day!
Responsibilities- Safely guide pedestrians across designated intersections or crosswalks
- Monitor traffic flow and stop vehicles as needed to ensure safe crossings
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and drivers to promote safety
- Maintain compliance with all safety practices
- This position often requires short response times to the job site; candidates residing in Summerlin are preferred.
- Reliable and responsible individuals focused on child safety
- Ability to interact professionally with students, parents, drivers, and community members
- Willingness to work before and after school shifts
- Preference given to candidates residing in the Summerlin area
