Substitute Support Staff (Northern Nye Schools)

Amargosa, Beatty, Gabbs, Round Mountain, and Tonopah Schools

On-call, as needed

Amount will match Step 0 of the job that is being subbed.

Job Goal

To provide support in the support staff job classifications when classified employees are absent for any reason. Substitute Support Staff positions include:
Clerical, Custodial, Lunch Aide and/or Paraprofessional duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
• Must pass a reference check, mandatory fingerprint background check and drug and alcohol testing
• Must complete ½ day observations in each job classification

This vacancy is for Northern Nye Schools (Amargosa, Beatty, Gabbs, Round Mountain, and Tonopah Schools only). Southern Nye applicants will not be considered for this vacancy.

Working Conditions

Working in office, classroom and/or school setting and provided with supplies necessary to carry out functions of position description.
