Coach (Northern Nye Schools)
Tonopah, Round Mountain, Gabbs & Duckwater Schools
Funding Source:
General Fund
Stipend Position:
Based on Sport & Location

Job Goal:
To provide each enrolled student of secondary school age an opportunity to participate in an extra-curricular athletic activity that will foster physical skills, a sense of worth and competence, and the principles of fair play.

Qualifications:

Experience requirements:
Head Coach:
Previous coaching experience required – in the same sport preferred; head coach experience preferred
Assistant Coach:
Previous coaching experience – in the same sport preferred
Must have demonstrated knowledge of the program;
Must be willing to work long hours and on weekends;
Must be willing to work in a high pressure environment;
Must complete NIAA and NCSD mandatory online training
Must have current CPR/First Aid/AED training and certification;
Must work well with Administration, coaches, parents, staff and community
Must pass a reference check, mandatory fingerprint background check and drug and alcohol testing.

Working Conditions:
Office or suitable workspace with desk, telephone, computer, and supplies necessary to carry out functions of position description.
