About the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled Loudspeaker Engineer to partner closely with senior engineering and product teams in the design and development of advanced, production ready loudspeakers. This position is highly technical and requires a hands‑on engineer who thrives on solving complex acoustic challenges using modern design tools and analytical methods.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop high performance loudspeakers for both residential and professional applications.
- Create development plans for speaker crossovers, voicing, and DSP presets.
- Design and test crossovers and other related electronic systems.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies related to transducers and loudspeaker systems.
- Collaborate with domestic and international suppliers to communicate design intent, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure product quality.
- Follow the internal product development process and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Support product management, marketing, and sales with technical insight and product demonstrations.
What You’ll Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Acoustics, Audio Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in acoustic or loudspeaker engineering.
- Technical Depth: Strong understanding of acoustics fundamentals, including enclosure design, transducer behavior, crossover networks, and amplifier operation.
- Tools & Software: Skilled in using Klippel, REW, Vituix
CAD, Audio Precision, Fine Motor, FEMM, and COMSOL. - Market Awareness: Familiarity with the Custom Integration and high‑end audio market, with an understanding of client needs and expectations.
- Mindset: Passionate about sound and driven to continuously learn and innovate.
- Communication: Able to work effectively with global teams across multiple time zones.
- Flexibility: Willing to travel occasionally (domestic and international) for supplier visits, research, and trade shows.
- Collaboration: Team‑oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to quality and design excellence.
- Organization: Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet development milestones.
