Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Senior Metallurgist at our Phoenix operation. The successful candidate will work closely with operations, maintenance, ore control, metallurgical/assay labs, and outside departments to ensure environmental compliance and safe functionality of plant operations. • Work closely with production and maintenance supervision along with other outside departments to ensure environmental compliance and safe functionality of the plant operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Work on projects through all aspects of experimental design, engineering, forecasting, funding, construction, and commissioning.
• Develop automation of data collection.
• Provide technical assistance and analysis to process group stakeholders.
• Be familiar with strategic business planning and propose process improvements to maximize cash flow.
• Create and maintain leaching plans, solution management plans.
• Analyze metallurgical test work and update recovery curves.
• Work with computers and associated programs like Excel, PowerPoint, Jigsaw, Pi, Gold Sim.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent process-related degree required.
• Minimum 5 years experience in metallurgical or chemical engineering role required.
• Experience in heap leach process, milling process and process control systems preferred.
• Knowledge of principles and methods used in metallurgical and processing analysis, with practical application and process optimization experience required.
• Ability to research, analyze information and draw conclusions, take action to resolve operational, environmental issues, permit compliance, and problem resolution from an operating plan status required.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required.
• Proven safety record and ability to support work group in achieving safety, environmental, and production goals required.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of this position required.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
