Our people division is growing, and we are looking for a Senior Metallurgist at our Phoenix operation. The successful candidate will work closely with operations, maintenance, ore control, metallurgical/assay labs, and outside departments to ensure environmental compliance and safe functionality of plant operations.

Responsibilities- Work closely with production and maintenance supervision along with other outside departments to ensure environmental compliance and the safe functionality of plant operation and equipment maintenance.
- Lead and participate in projects through all aspects of experimental design, engineering, forecasting, funding, construction, and commissioning
- Continue to develop automation of data collection
- Provide technical assistance and analysis to process group stakeholders
- Contribute to strategic business planning and propose process improvements to maximize cash flow
- Create and maintain leaching plans, solution management plans
- Analyze metallurgical test work and update recovery curves
- Work with computers and associated programs like Excel, PowerPoint, Jigsaw, Pi, Gold Sim
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent process-related degree required
- Minimum 5 years experience in metallurgical or chemical engineering role required
- Experience in heap leach process, milling process and process control systems preferred
- Knowledge of the principles and methods used in metallurgical and processing analysis, practical application, and process optimization experience required
- Ability to research, analyze information and draw conclusions, take action to resolve operational, environmental issues, permit compliance, and problem resolution from an operating plan status required
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required
- Proven safety record and ability to support work group in achieving safety, environmental, and production goals required
- Ability to perform the essential functions of this position required
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
