Gold Ranch Casino in Dayton is looking for a Revenue Auditor! Entry level opportunity.
Revenue Auditors perform audits for various departments including slots, cage, food & beverage, and Player’s Club, using detailed instructions and checklists. Identifies, investigates, and reports any system, document, or accounting issues that are found during the auditing process.
- Physical Work Location is Pioneer Crossing Casino in Dayton, Nevada.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; a 2-year degree in business, accounting or another related field is preferred.
- Minimum two years previous experience in a similar role;
Previous casino experience and/or familiarity with OASIS slot systems is preferred (not required). - Must be professional and personable.
- Must have beginner-to-intermediate-level working knowledge of Excel, and other Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations; addition, subtraction, multiplication, division & percentages.
- Ability to independently utilize critical thinking to make sound and reasonable decisions using facts, reference materials and data.
- Emotionally intelligent.
- Ability to exhibit appropriate professional conduct for an office environment.
- High attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong organization, time management and prioritization skills
- Accepts and is open to constructive feedback and demonstrates a willingness to learn; coachable.
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible to changing rules, regulations and procedures as needed to support work completion, department functionality, and gaming requirements.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with various employees, including management.
- Team-Player, willingness to jump in and help when needed.
- Review of paperwork, reports and other documentation needed to complete audits from various departments according to detailed instructions and checklists.
- Data entry and preparation of Audit Excel files.
- Documents and investigate discrepancies in paperwork and system reports.
- Communicate issues and discrepancies to the appropriate department head for escalation as needed.
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
- Must be able to sit for the majority of shift. Must be able to work in an office environment. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds on an infrequent basis. Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
