You’ll be the founding engineer focused on AI—and work shoulder-to-shoulder with our CTO and product engineering team to:

• Build user-facing AI agents from scratch: Create scalable, auditable single and multi-agent systems that can observe, plan and take independent action incorporating the latest techniques in routing, context engineering, tool use, monitoring, etc.
• Own prompt engineering
  :
  Design, iterate, and evaluate prompts for our form generation engine, candidate agents, and compliance routing tools.
• Architect document intelligence workflows
  :
  Combine OCR, model inference, validation rules, and human-in-the-loop feedback to build reliable, scalable pipelines.
• Implement agent flows
  :
  Build Slack, SMS, or web-based agent workflows that help recruiters, admins, and candidates navigate onboarding.
• Design eval systems
  :
  Create testing infrastructure to track accuracy, hallucination, cost, latency, and iteration impact.
• Work full-stack
  :
  While AI will be your focus, we value engineers who can jump into APIs, SDKs, and front-end surfaces when needed.
• Define how we build with AI
  :
  Set tooling, best practices, and cultural expectations around AI-native product development.

• You’ve built AI-powered product features and shipped them to real users.
• You’re fluent in LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
• You’re excited to work on structured data, not just unstructured chat.
• You enjoy writing clean, scalable Type Script.
• You enjoy pushing the limits of generating technical approaches and production-ready code with AI coding agents.
• You’ve worked in a startup and love solving ambiguous, unsolved problems.
• You can balance innovation and pragmatism. You know when to fine-tune and when to prompt; when to test and when to ship.
• You thrive in a fast-moving team, value collaboration, and want to shape the product as much as the code.
