Puppet + DevOps

Sonsoft, Inc. is a USA-based corporation organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Georgia. Sonsoft Inc. specializes in Software Development, Software Consultancy, and Information Technology Enabled Services.

We are seeking a candidate with strong experience in automation/configuration management using tools such as Puppet, Chef, or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have:

• Good knowledge of Puppet, including compilation into catalogs and split Puppet Master architecture.
• Proven configuration management skills and mindset.
• Experience managing large clusters with tools like Puppet or Chef.
• Strong practical skills in Linux and Windows system administration within cloud or virtualized environments.
• Experience operating highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, Python, or Ruby.
• Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN.
• Ability to collaborate with development teams to identify and implement automation solutions.
• Knowledge of distributed and enterprise applications is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of web, database, and OS server configurations, preferably Linux, Apache, and MySQL.
