To learn more about Mission Technologies,  for a short video:  Who We Are HII - Mission Technologies is seeking a Red Air Pilot/Controller as a member of the Modeling, Simulation, and Training team at the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center - Nellis (JITTC-N), Nellis, AFB, NV.

The individual's primary responsibility is using the Next Threat Generation System (NGTS) software and prepping desired entities (number, loadout, etc.) for the Battlespace Environment. In addition, this pilot will be responsible for operating as a Man-in-the-loop Red Air simulator pilot, performing Transfer of Ownership (ToO) of aircrafts, coordinating with Control Room Coordinator (CRC) for launching of pending threat force entities and managing constructed entities in a realistic manner within the simulation environment.

Secondary tasks will include small group leadership within the greater JITTC-N and JSE operation. What You Will Do Operating consoles to provide realistic Battlespace Environment. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Orchestrate and operate constructive representation of battlespace environment for test and training missions using NGTS Battle Monitor software.
* Operating as a Man-in-the-loop Red Air simulator pilot to achieve customer desired learning objectives.
* Develop and/or assist in the creation of Behaviors using NGTS Behavior Editor software and entities using the NGTS Player and Parametric Editor software.
* Operate mission recording and playback/debrief software during the test and training missions.
* Assist in the ToO of aircrafts to support test and training missions.
* Provide feedback and assist in the creation and modification of mission-planning materials to ensure participants achieve maximum training.
* Report issues related to stimulation software applications and provide basic trouble shooting support. What You Must Have
* 15+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13+ years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19+ years relevant experience.
* Understanding of Air Force terminology to implement and operate a realistic battlespace for test and training.
* Work Environment:
Position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required.
* Must be capable of working morning and evening shifts to accommodate flexible schedule training operations.
* Must have had an active DoD Top Secret security clearance within the last 24 months.
* Ability to obtain and maintain DoD TS/SCI and relevant SAP/SAR Clearance. Preferred Requirements
* Experience with Next Generation Threat System (NGTS) Software to include: NGTS Sim Core, Player Editor, Parametric Editor, Behavior Editor and recording and logging functions.
* Military experience in fourth or fifth generation aircraft as a previous pilot/WSO/CSO/Navigator. (WIC Graduate or Aggressor experience highly desired.)
* Advanced aircraft simulator experience and scenario development.
* Highly desired

- Experience with Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) and familiarity with its software components (NGTS, WSCE, DIADS, EAAGLES, GRID, Shot Log, ART, and SCE).
