Position: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/ENTARCH) with Security Clearance
Location: The Lakes

Duties
* Serves as the principle advisor to the Wing Commander and Director of Advanced Programs on the latest industry and technological projections as they pertain to SAP Cyber Security/Information Security for the network enclave infrastructure.
* Maintain and report IS and PIT systems assessment and authorization status and issues in accordance with DoD Component guidance.
* Plans and coordinates all phases of the acquisition, implementation, and integration of IT assets.
* Provides oversight in the daily operations for security activities for the enclave. Continually assesses policy needs and interprets broad DoD, AF, and other higher headquarters guidance and applies it through development of policies for the area of responsibility.
* Maintains security risk management for protecting a DoD SAP element's ability to perform its mission, and its information assets. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Position is Centrally Managed by the Cyberspace and Information Technology CFT; DNRP is authorized
* Position is designated Special-sensitive and incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
* Incumbent must complete appropriate training and obtain required certifications IAW DoDI 8140, DOD 8570.01M for Cyber workforce as an IA Manager Level 3 and maintain annual Information Technology Certification level requirements
* Mobility is a condition of employment. The employee must sign an Air Force-wide mobility agreement.
* Position is designated as OM-ADM-001 within the Defense Cybersecurity Workforce as guided by NIST SP 800-181;
National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education, Cybersecurity Workforce Framework.

* The employee may be required to travel TDY, sometimes on short notice, traveling in military and/or commercial aircraft or by other designated means.
* The employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours and tours of duty such as overtime, weekends, callback, uncommon tour of duty, holidays, etc. May be required to carry a cellular phone.
* The employee will be required to have, or obtain, and maintain a valid driver's license.
* This is a deployable position. Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
* Drug Testing:
This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing.
* Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
* This position is designated as a key position IAW AFI 36-507. Duties of this position are essential to the accomplishment of wartime/contingency operations.
* Incumbents of key positions must be removed from their military recall status if alternative for filling of the position during an emergency is not available. EXPERIENCE:

Must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:
Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving AND one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-12 (or equivalent in other pay systems) which includes utilizing a strong command of enterprise-level IT infrastructure, management software, project management practices, security standards, and organizational business needs. Capabilities include planning and coordinating the installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrading of enterprise software and related infrastructure changes.
