SummaryNisga’a TEK, LLC is looking for a Systems Administrator. This person will be responsible for all network planning and engineering functions related to the network infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Assess server loads and work with tech lead on developing tuning recommendations
- Assist in server maintenance and special projects, during extended work hours
- Build and provide configuration, setup, and installation tasks for assigned servers
- Communicate outage/degradation of server to management
- Coordinate requests for service support (SRS) from internal/external service providers
- Execute change requests, trouble tickets, routine operation and maintenance, and server builds
- Maintain server rooms
- Monitor backups
- Perform operating system software updates/upgrades
- Provide operational pager duty support
- Provide remote access to servers
- Restore file and data information
- Transition servers
- Understand and implement established technical and workflow procedures
- Demonstrated ability to be the subject matter expert in supporting, maintaining, and administering complex applications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- At least 2-5 years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis
- Experience on failover, high availability, disaster recovery, business continuance
- Experience in process automation, best practice approach, technology efficiency, and effectiveness
SPR/SAR access, DCID 6/4 eligible with current SSBI - DoD 8570.01-M IA Certification matched to assigned duties
- Active Secret clearance
- Ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance
- Associates degree or higher
- Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Top Secret clearance
The annual salary range for this role $80,000 to $99,800.
