Baker Hughes Bently Nevada and Nexus Controls offers a plant-wide, holistic suite of control system and machine condition monitoring and protection hardware, software, and services that help achieve the highest level of asset reliability possible. Our Team supports the supply chain management.

• Focusing on productivity, safety, quality and cost improvements.
• Set up, calibrate, and maintain manufacturing and test equipment.
• Executing functional tests and troubleshooting to component level.
• Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and quality teams to resolve production issues.
• Acting independently on projects and special test department tasks using technical abilities.
• Identify and report defects, ensuring compliance with IPC standards.
• Developing skills to become a technology resource for the test unit and other production areas, as directed.
• Working individually and on teams to improve various areas of the department.
• Learning and use Six Sigma methodologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of production and test.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have an electrical technical degree or similar from an accredited college or university.
• Demonstrate experience with electronics.
• Be familiar with concepts that include inductance, capacitance, resistance, voltage and electrical currents.
• Have a minimum of 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Have ability to read and interpret routine instructions.
• Have ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Have a good mechanical aptitude and knowledge of general hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Work with approved chemicals.
• Work overtime, as required.
