We are looking for a Production Scheduler who can take on a variety of tasks to support our Production Team’s efficiency. This role will be responsible for tracking, evaluating, and driving forward action at L.A. Gauge Company. The Production Scheduler is responsible for tracking and managing our parts production, so we deliver high-quality parts on time. This individual will be capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and collaborating closely with our various departments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and adjust daily and weekly production schedules to meet customer and internal deadlines
- Monitor material flow and ensure components progress smoothly through each stage of the manufacturing process
- Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to resolve delays, shortages, or technical issues
- Maintain accurate records in ERP/MRP systems, including work orders, material transactions, and schedule updates
- Track production performance and prepare reports on schedule adherence, throughput, and bottlenecks
- Support compliance with AS9100 and FAA requirements through accurate documentation and process adherence
- Communicate schedule changes, risks, and priorities to production supervisors and cross-functional teams
- Assist in process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing lead times and improving production efficiency
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, manufacturing, or related field preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in production control, scheduling, or manufacturing operations
- 2+ years of experience using an ERP system (Epicor Kinetic preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills across all formats, including verbal, written, and visual
- Maintains exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Gathers and presents information clearly to employees, subcontractors, and customers
