American International Tooling is actively hiring for a CNC II Setup/Operator. We have experienced unprecedented growth and require qualified applicants. Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints and related technical data.
- Understand the relationships between dimensions and how tolerances impact finished dimensions.
- Edit, offset, and modify machine controls.
- Measure part dimensions and perform machine offsets.
- Change inserts and perform tool touch‑off.
- Load, unload, and inspect production parts.
- Provide typical machine ship support to the manufacturing/assembly floor.
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to leads/management.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
- Be proficient in setup and operations with all turning centers, lathes, mills, and miscellaneous equipment.
- Set up and tear down in a timely manner to meet manufacturing needs.
- Understand the physical characteristics of different materials.

Qualifications- Experience operating CNC equipment, including lathes and mills.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with the working properties of various materials.
- Ability to program or reprogram CNC machines for part production.
- Good hand‑tool and measuring instrument skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
