Position Overview

As the Master Planner, you will be a pivotal player in driving the success of Unimacts' production scheduling for roll form, swage and drill lines. Your role will focus on developing and managing the production schedules, supply chain processes, and capacity planning for our Las Vegas operations. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, you will ensure seamless coordination of materials, resources, and schedules to meet production goals and customer commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive master schedules/production plans to align production with customer demand, capacity, and inventory targets.
  • Evaluate and optimize manufacturing capacity, identify constraints, and implement solutions to maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure on‑site raw material inventory levels to meet production requirements while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
  • Collaborate with commercial and operations teams to translate forecasts into actionable production plans.
  • Analyze current planning and scheduling processes, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Partner with procurement, engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure alignment across all supply chain activities.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery, schedule attainment, backlog hours/backlog work orders, production efficiency, and inventory accuracy, providing regular updates to sourcing manager and leadership team.
  • Identify potential risks in the supply chain and production process, proactively developing contingency plans.
  • Ensure all planning activities adhere to company policies, customer requirements, and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in production planning software (e.g., MD365, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel or Power BI (test may be required).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proven track record of working cross‑functionally.
  • Experience in renewable energy or heavy manufacturing sectors is a plus.
  • APICS certification (e.g., CPIM or CSCP) is preferred.
