Production Floater (Manufacturing Assembly)
Are you a hands‑on problem solver who thrives in a fast‑paced environment? We are looking for a versatile Production Floater to join our team. In this role, you won’t just be stuck at one station; you will be the "gears" that keep our production moving, stepping in where needed most to build sub‑assemblies, manage inventory, and ensure our workflow remains seamless.
Location: Minden, NV
Schedule: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm
Pay: $20hr
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)As a Production Floater, your day will be dynamic. You will support various departments by:
Precision Assembly:
Building units and sub‑assemblies (closures, guides, and valves) at benches using hand and power tools.Inventory & Flow:
Building pump flanges, ball valves, and isolation couplings to ensure downstream production never hits a bottleneck.Quality Control:
Inspecting components for fit and finish, reporting any deviations, and maintaining accurate daily production logs.Technical Support:
Assisting with TIG welding for large and small valve production.Digital Tracking:
Accurately entering completed parts into our inventory system via tablet or computer.Safety & Organization:
Maintaining a clean, "lean" workspace and adhering to all safety protocols to protect yourself and your teammates.
Dexterity & Skill:
Strong hand‑eye coordination and the ability to work comfortably with tools.Adaptability: A "can‑do" attitude with the ability to switch tasks based on production priorities.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 70 lbs (large valves), and maneuver carts weighing up to 1,500 lbs.Communication:
Clear verbal and written skills; ability to follow complex technical directions and work independently.Reliability: A proven track record of excellent attendance and punctuality.
Experience:
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic.
