TRC is seeking a Senior Land Representative to join our team in Reno, Nevada. As a Senior Land Representative, you will possess an excellent working knowledge of all right of way disciplines: title, permitting, acquisition, documentation.

Responsibilities
The Senior Land Representative will be responsible for:

• Researching contact information and initiating contact with owners of interest in property affected by project
• Understanding and communicating property appraisals and valuations to landowners
• Securing permission to enter properties from landowners and tenants
• Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with project-affected landowners
• Negotiating for ROW options, easements, fee interest, and curative documents as directed by the ROW Supervisor or as required by project documents and the acquisition policy
• Assisting in the development of a construction line from the conditions and/or restrictions placed on the ROW by the landowner and/or tenant
• Maintaining a detailed diary containing the facts of each contact for every property owner and tenant on a project and preparing a detailed weekly activity report
• Maintaining a detailed log of all payments
• Estimating and negotiating damage settlements as required
• Representing the client by participating in community project meetings
• Supporting all construction activities as required
• Working with landowner attorney representation to further negotiations and reach agreements
• Obtaining necessary documents from local county public records
• Assisting in project mail-outs, file prep, and data needs
• Documenting all ROW activities as required

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree preferred or at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Valid Driver's license
• SR/WA or other IRWA designation preferred
• Able to obtain State's Notary Public
• State Real Estate Licensing, if required by State

Skills

• Five (5) years of experience as a ROW agent or related ROW position
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including spreadsheet and word processing
• Must be detail-oriented and have excellent analytical and quantitative skills
• Requires specialized knowledge in the methods and techniques for performing Land Services activities
• Must be able to work alone, make decisions, and use judgment while performing related activities

Compensation
In accordance with local law, the salary range for this position is $93,600.00 - $98,280.00 per year.
