Position:
Bus Driver – no CDL required.

Gabbs School, 511 E Avenue, Gabbs, NV 89409.

Provide safe and efficient transportation for District students.

5.5 hours a day, 4 days a week.

$22.10 – $24.21 per hour.

• Obey all traffic laws.
• Observe all mandatory safety regulations for school buses.
• Maintain student discipline on the bus.
• Keep the assigned bus clean, including mirrors, windows, and interior.
• Adhere to route, stops, and schedule as determined by the immediate supervisor.
• Report all accidents and complete required reports.
• Notify the proper authority in case of mechanical failure or safety problems.
• Exercise responsible leadership when on out‑of‑district school trips.
• Transport only authorized students and District employees.
• Perform the daily pre‑trip safety inspection of the bus.
• Enforce District bus safety rules.

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Correct English usage and grammar.
• Knowledge of educational, behavioral, and emotional principles and techniques.
• Ability to relate to adults and children of all ages, particularly those with a disabling condition.
• Current CPR certification and First Aid training.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist with toileting needs.
