Job Description

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for accepting incoming orders, processing and packing orders, counting inventory, and ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner. They prepare orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the staging area. This candidate will also manage, organize, and retrieve stock, operate a forklift, and travel 50-75% of the time along the I-80 route from Reno to Wells to project sites.

• Pack, stock, organize and rearrange products in the warehouse
• Keep the warehouse premises neat and clean
• Organize and keep records of inventories up to date
• Monitor and manage inventory
• Manage shipping, loading, and unloading of products
• Deliver and pick up materials from job sites
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks
• Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care
• Drive company trucks, sometimes with a trailer
• Operate necessary tools and accessories for warehouse maintenance
• Integrate best practices in handling warehouse materials
• Travel overnight markets as required

• Forklift experience
• Ability to lift 75 pounds
• High school degree or equivalent
• Proficiency in MS Office products and basic computer skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the shift
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Able to work independently
• Highly organized and able to store items efficiently
