Job Title:
Machine Engineer
Client is unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Develop processes to support the Interior/Exterior Division and the Safety Systems Division in their efforts to reduce PPM and increase productivity.
Responsibilities- Coordinate various projects from concept to completion, including process design and layout.
- Develop capital equipment specifications and present justifications for equipment purchases to management.
- Negotiate equipment pricing with suppliers and manage equipment procurement.
- Coordinate equipment rigging and installation with outside contractors.
- Oversee process installation and debugging.
- Train personnel on how to operate new equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting on automated equipment.
- Design small assembly machines, fixtures, and tooling.
- Supervise various facilities construction projects throughout the plant.
- Proficiency in process design, layout design, equipment design, and equipment installation.
- Experience in equipment selection and tooling design.
- Strong project engineering and process engineering skills.
- Ability to negotiate and manage equipment procurement.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Bachelor's degree (B.S) from a four-year college or university.
- One to two years of related experience.
The position requires working Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM or 7 AM to 4 PM. It is a salaried position with paid overtime after 40 hours. Some Saturdays will be mandatory depending on production needs, likely alternating with other Machine Engineers.
This is a Permanent position based out of New Albany, IN.
The pay range for this position is $60,000.00 - $85,000.00/yr. Medical, dental, vision, 401k.
This is a fully onsite position in New Albany, IN.
This position is anticipated to close on Jan 9, 2026.
