Our client, a leading organization in the telecommunications and utility sector, is seeking a dedicated Infrastructure Engineer (Fiber) to join their dynamic team. As an Infrastructure Engineer (Fiber), you will be an integral part of the support team responsible for maintaining and enhancing critical transport network systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong commitment to teamwork and problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?- Support Fiber Optic, Microwave, and P.25 800
Mhz radio systems (Transport Systems). - Participate in a shared 24x7x365 on-call rotation with other engineers.
- Perform break/fix support of transport network systems to ensure continuous operation.
- Support remotely the change control work associated with deploying fiber optic, microwave, and radio systems.
- Follow change management processes and adhere to organizational standards for network configuration changes.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, telecommunications, engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in transport networking or related fields.
- Experience with Ciena Carrier Ethernet/DWDM, Nokia SAR Carrier Ethernet, SEL ICON, Nortel, and Ciena Legacy SONET equipment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of transport networking and support at an enterprise level.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
