The Carryout Employee at Mark's Feed Store is responsible for providing excellent customer service by assisting guests with carryout orders. This includes accurately taking orders, packaging food items, ensuring that orders are complete, and delivering them to customers in a timely and professional manner. The Carryout Employee plays an essential role in ensuring a positive customer experience for guests who choose to take their meals to go.

They also maintain cleanliness and organization in the carryout area.

• Customer Service:
  • Greet customers promptly and warmly as they enter the carryout area, providing a friendly and positive atmosphere.
  • Take customer orders over the phone or in person, answering any questions about the menu, specials, or ingredients.
  • Confirm order details with customers to ensure accuracy, including special instructions or dietary preferences.
  • Provide assistance in finalizing orders, including suggesting add-ons, sides, or drinks to enhance the guest's meal.
  • Ensure that all customer inquiries, concerns, or requests are handled professionally and promptly, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Order Preparation & Packaging:
  • Accurately package food orders for carryout, ensuring that all items are included, properly portioned, and securely wrapped or packaged for transport.
  • Double-check orders for completeness and correctness before handing them over to the customer.
  • Label and organize carryout orders according to pick-up times or special instructions to ensure a smooth process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace for packaging and preparing carryout orders.
