Job Summary
Paramedic – Full‑time position in the New Albany, OH area. The successful candidate will work Monday‑Saturday (6:30 am – 6:30 pm) and must be able to commute reliably to the site.

Key Responsibilities- Operate ambulance equipment and respond to radio transmissions.
- Coordinate with the team responding to an emergency.
- Provide emergency care in basic and advanced life support.
- Respond to accidents and multiple traumas applying Advanced Trauma Life Support principles.
- Assist with minor or routine medical cases when not responding to emergency medical calls, as directed by the Physician and Clinical Team Leader.
- Perform regular training (e.g., first aid) and participate in emergency drills at the jobsite.
- Prepare patients for and safely transport them to the emergency department or other healthcare facilities.
- Document and report observations and any treatment provided to physicians, nurses, or other healthcare staff.
- Evaluate the patient’s condition on the scene, perform a preliminary diagnosis, and document vital signs, chief complaint, medical history, and prescribed medications.
- Establish observable and documentable patient goals using care plans within protocols.
- Assist medical providers with procedures and treatments as allowed within the licensed scope of work.
- Address injuries or sudden illnesses with first‑aid, CPR, administering injections, oxygen, or surgical procedures.
- Administer basic care, e.g., catheter insertion, blood specimen collection, urine collection, EKG, visual acuity tests, wound care, bandage changes, IV medications.
- Assist patients with basic care and activities of daily living as needed.
- Use technical equipment and tools to stabilize patients or provide immediate treatment.
- Monitor the patient’s condition en route to the treating facility and report all changes to the medical provider.
- Collaborate with police, firefighting units, doctors, and other interested parties.
- Write and submit accurate incident reports.
- Adhere to established medical protocols, procedures, legal guidelines, health and safety standards.
- Keep abreast of new treatments and procedures through continuous training.
- Provide support and education to help patients make responsible health decisions.
- Maintain supply inventory, check stock levels, anticipate needed supplies, and restock clinical and provider areas upon receipt.
- Cross‑train to work within clinics, emergency rooms, and inpatient units.
- Minimum of three (3) years of paramedic experience.
- Experience in a clinic setting (urgent care, emergency room, etc.).
- Occupational Medicine experience is preferred.
- Paramedic Ohio State Certification.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
- Certified CPR instructor.
- Excellent written and oral English.
