BESTAFF is hiring an experienced MIG Welder for a great family-owned company in New Albany, IN. This is a machine shop environment where quality work gets noticed and your skills are valued. You’ll work a steady daytime schedule - home every evening and every weekend - with pay that reflects the experience you bring. • Perform MIG welding on fabricated parts and assemblies to exact specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to set up each job
• Measure, lay out, and fit parts using tape measures, calipers, and squares
• Inspect your finished welds for quality, accuracy, and appearance
• Grind, clean, and prep materials before and after welding
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe in a machine shop setting
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

• 2-5 years of hands-on MIG welding experience
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Strong measuring skills and attention to detail
• Experience working in a machine shop or fabrication environment preferred
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
