Cashier/Sales Associate - Overnights

Night shift (typically between 10 PM and 6 AM) at GPM Investments, LLC. Work independently as the primary employee on site.

What You'll Do:

• Greet customers and run the register accurately and quickly.
• Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales, ensuring compliance with age verification and legal requirements.
• Offer friendly service and upsell when possible to increase sales.
• Keep the inside and outside of the store safe and clean, including:
  • Deep cleaning high‑use restrooms
  • Wiping down and sanitizing gas pumps
  • Picking up litter and trash from the floor and lot area
  • Taking out the trash to the dumpster in all kinds of weather
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise fresh and full.
• Maintain a clean and organized store—sweep, mop, clean windows, and maintain entryways.
• Cross‑train in other departments, including deli, as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Serve as a team player and step in to help wherever needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Age:
  Must be 18 years or older in AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, and CO; 21 years or older in all other states.
• Availability:
  Able to work weekends, holidays, and nights between 10 PM–6 AM.
• Willingness:
  Prepared to work hard, stay on feet most of shift, comfortable indoors and outdoors in all weather.
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Math Proficiency:
  Basic math skills—addition, subtraction, division, multiplication.
• Physical Ability:
  Capable of lifting 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Pre‑Employment Screening:
  Must pass a drug screen and be subject to a criminal background check.
• Personable & Positive:
  Friendly demeanor, makes people feel welcome.
• Detail‑Oriented:
  Notices small important details that improve customer experience.
• Reliable & Responsible:
  Punctual, trustworthy, takes pride in work.
• Flexible:
  Adaptable to a variety of tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience:
  
  Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
