As a Security Officer – School Campus Patrol in New Albany, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in an educational setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols specific to the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and providing a visible presence.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or on-site contacts.
• Support the enforcement of site rules and regulations, addressing policy violations as directed.
• Assist visitors, students, and staff with inquiries, directions, and other customer service needs while maintaining professionalism.
• Participate in emergency response procedures, including evacuations or lockdowns, as directed by site protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
