General Assembly

Overview

Our company is seeking a skilled General Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with general assembly and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Assemble wood parts and upholstery using a staple gun
• Work with polyfoam to create comfortable and durable products
• Follow assembly instructions and blueprints to ensure quality products
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet company standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Uses air powered frame gun to put wood parts together to build a furniture frame (or parts of a frame) and/or attach padding and upholstery to a finished wooden frame
• Reads instruction and production sheets to complete daily production goals
• Operates and maintains air powered frame and/or nail guns
• Works in accordance with Company Safety practices
• Maintains neat and clean work area
• Follows all quality standards and inspection requirements
• Regular attendance and compliance with all work schedules
• All other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience with general assembly
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly instructions
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
