Assembly Worker

1st Shift:

• Monday – Thursday, 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Overtime as needed)

• Starting Pay: $14.87/hr

• Pay Range: $14.87 – $18.21/hr (based on experience, education, and location)

2nd Shift:

• Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM (Overtime as needed)

• Starting Pay: $15.17/hr

• Pay Range: $15.71 – $18.51/hr (based on experience, education, and location)

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Assembly Specialists to join our growing manufacturing team in Union County, MS
. These full-time positions play a key role in the production of high-quality refrigeration units. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and able to follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

• Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and assembly instructions accurately.

• Measure and mark components for assembly using appropriate tools.

• Use hand and power tools to drill, cut, and fit parts as needed.

• Assemble sections of walk-in refrigeration units, including locks, ramps, wood inserts, and other specialized features.

• Clean and trim excess foam and ensure finished sections meet quality standards.

• Apply correct labels (e.g., UL stickers, serial numbers) based on specifications.

• Keep work areas clean and free of debris and foreign material.

• Identify defective parts and report issues to the supervisor immediately.

• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.

• Strong basic math skills, including the ability to work with fractions.

• Proficient in using a tape measure and interpreting measurements accurately.

• Ability to read and follow technical documents and assembly plans.

• Skilled in handling both hand and power tools.

• Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

• Team-oriented with good communication skills.

• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle repetitive tasks.

• Adherence to all workplace safety protocols and procedures.

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with precision.

• Must use required PPE properly (eye/ear protection, respirators, harnesses, etc.).

• Availability to work 40+ hours per week, including overtime when needed.

• Willingness to train across different shifts as required.

• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills in English.

• Must maintain consistent visual, auditory, and cognitive ability to perform tasks.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and assembly experience.

• Excellent attendance record and stable work history.

• 6–12 months of direct manufacturing experience preferred.

• 1–2 years of general manufacturing or 3–4 years of non-manufacturing labor experience.

• Familiarity with similar machinery or production environments is a plus, but not required.
