Seasonal Tax Preparer – Mid-Level (Bonus at end of tax season)

Seasonal Position – January through April

DWA Tax Consultants is looking for a detail-oriented, friendly, and reliable Mid-Level Seasonal Tax Preparer to join our team for the upcoming tax season. We pride ourselves on delivering accurate work with a personal touch, and we’re seeking someone who can balance professionalism with a warm, client-focused approach.

• Prepare individual returns (1040) and related schedules with confidence and accuracy.
• Review client documents, identify missing information, and communicate clearly with clients and our team.
• Assist with small business returns and basic entity work as needed.
• Use our workflow systems to keep returns on track and ensure timely filing.
• Provide a positive experience to every client—whether they’re dropping off paperwork or calling with a question.
• Support the team with occasional administrative or follow-up tasks during peak times.

• 2–4+ years of hands‑on tax preparation experience.
• Comfortable working with 1040s, common credits, standard schedules, and small‑business items.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized during busy weeks.
• A calm, approachable demeanor—someone who can keep things light while staying focused.
• Experience with professional tax software (Lacerte experience is a plus).
• Availability to work extended hours during peak season (February–April).
