Responsibilities
- Analyze, interpret, negotiate, acquire, and prepare Oil and Gas Leases, Farmin/Farmout Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, Joint Operating Agreements, Participation Agreements, and Exploration Agreements.
- Examine and cure requirements set forth in drilling and division order title opinions.
- Supervise lease brokers and manage prospect lease acquisitions and associated expenditures.
- Landman with 7+ years of in‑house oil and gas industry experience, preferably including work in the Appalachia Basin.
- Experience in drafting a wide range of agreements, including Operating Agreements (O/A), Farmin (F/I), and Farmout (F/O) Agreements.
- Proven ability to supervise brokers, acquire leases, and cure title issues.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to work collaboratively on multiple projects in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree required;
Petroleum Land Management (PLM) degree preferred.
This position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
