What You'll DoThis position is responsible for supporting the execution, compliance, and enhancement of internal and external safety programs. Drive behavior‑based safety culture to achieve accident‑prevention and loss mitigation at E2 Optics customer locations.
- Safety is E2 Optics’ number one Core Value. All employees are expected to follow safe work practices, as well as adhere to company and client’s worksite safety policies and procedures.
- Provide safety and health training, instruction, and coaching to ensure compliance with applicable occupational safety and health regulations.
- Assist the Safety Manager with incident and accident investigations, including documentation, problem‑solving, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Conduct and/or participate in safety audits to review practices and records for compliance with relevant health and safety programs and OSHA regulations.
- Track, analyze trends, and lead structured problem‑solving efforts for recurring safety issues that hinder achievement of performance targets.
- This position typically requires minimal overnight travel (approximately 5%). The individual in this role must be able and willing to travel as required by E2 Optics.
- High school diploma required;
Associate’s degree preferred. - 2–3 years of occupational health and/or safety experience in a construction environment.
- OSHA 30 certification.

The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required to do so. The employee may also be required to work in tight, confined spaces.
