Project Engineer, Electrical Engineering

Location:

New Albany, OH

The Project Engineer will be responsible for supporting the project management team with the following tasks including but not limited to:

• Preparation of and tracking Project documentation (RFIs, Change Orders, Supplier Deviation Disposition Request (SDDR), Submittals, Quality Records etc.)

• Coordinate with shop and field deliveries of equipment, material and perform Material Receiving Inspections

• Coordinate with CAD/BIM to support resolution of modeling issues.

• Support Preparation of estimates and budgets.

• Manage subcontractors and vendors.

• Attend project meetings.

• Write and track purchase orders and subcontracts.

• Update project schedules.

• Installation productivity tracking.

• Act as main point of contact for engineering support to our client regarding the design, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems.

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level project engineers.

• Act as liaison between project management, quality control, senior engineering personnel, shop personnel and field crews.

• Maintain project tracking logs for fabrication and equipment installation for schedule incorporation and accurate project reporting.

• HVAC knowledge/ experience preferred.

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

• Proficient with learning and applying technical concepts.

• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and deadlines

• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

• Display diplomacy and tact in collaborating with a wide variety of colleagues, customers, and suppliers.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel, Word, and Project)

• Have some familiarity with AWS welding code, tracking and mapping

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Wage: $65K – 95K/yr.
