As a valued member of our in-house team, not a contracted service, you play a vital role in supporting our residents’ recovery and independence. You’re compassionate, collaborative, and skilled in guiding individuals through customized rehabilitation plans. You’re flexible, empathetic, and bring a positive attitude that helps residents feel encouraged and empowered.
Responsibilities- Administer manual exercises, massage, and/or traction to relieve pain, improve strength, and reduce the risk of deformity
- Instruct, motivate, and assist residents with functional mobility and activity improvement
- Observe, document, and report resident progress and treatment responses to the Physical Therapist
- Fit and train residents in the use and care of orthopedic devices such as braces, prostheses, walkers, and wheelchairs
- Collaborate with team members to develop and adjust treatment programs
- Support clerical functions such as inventory, supply orders, and documentation
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Ohio
- Outpatient experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
