Position SummaryThe HR Manager is responsible for providing HR leadership and guidance by partnering with business leaders at sites or within functions. Under guidance from senior HR leaders, the role ensures the successful implementation of strategic HR initiatives in Talent Management, Performance Management, Leadership Development, Employee Engagement, Change Management, and Compensation and Benefits. The manager also executes recruiting strategies for mid‑to‑low level professional and managerial positions, and manages additional HR duties such as retention strategy, legal compliance, payroll, communication, orientation, and training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Partner with business leaders to guide initiatives and align them with the HR strategy.
- Act as a change agent to drive transformation, develop change plans, and lead communication and engagement activities.
- Establish robust recruitment processes and procedures to attract and retain talent.
- Administer employee and labor relations programs, including compensation, performance management, benefits, and staffing.
- Facilitate and provide training and development to management and the workforce.
- Provide coaching and advice to managers and employees to resolve problems.
- Maintain employee recognition programs and administer existing programs in accordance with policies.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze data, and recommend improvements.
- Provide employee relations expertise and shape local ER strategy with legal compliance.
- Promote diversity initiatives within the area or country.
- Support timely communication and administrative deliverables.
- Utilize internal and external data to generate reports for business cases and regulatory requirements.
- Travel as required.
- Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Lead, develop, and coach a team of up to 6 employees.
Skills & Abilities Education & Experience- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or Social Sciences and a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible HR experience, or equivalent education and work experience.
- Microsoft Office.
- Experience with HRIS systems.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred.
- Recognized HR Professional Certification preferred.
- Local language required.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- English (reading, writing, verbal).
- Good mathematical skills.
Previous experience with unspecified duties. Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months.
