AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. The role involves working with software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while expanding network capacity at the lowest possible cost.

• Move and install large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling and patch cabling between equipment.
• Maintain proper safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and perform break‑fix activities.
• Safely use material‑handling tools and equipment.
• Travel within and outside the regional work area, requiring a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience in technical or vocational roles such as computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, data center operations, or technical project management.

• Industry certifications (CompTIA, CCENT, Network+).
• Knowledge of network cabling, optical types, and test equipment.
• Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
• Experience managing medium to large, complex project scopes.
• Knowledge of major command‑line protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, GNU/Linux) and networking protocols (BGP, OSPF).

The base pay for this position ranges from $50,600 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $113,200 per year in our highest geographic market.
