About the Role:
IDOO Global Inc is looking for a skilled and motivated Data Center Field Operations Technician to join our team in New Albany, OH. This is a hands‑on role at the heart of our data center operations, where you'll keep critical infrastructure running at peak performance. Responsibilities:- Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data center hardware including servers, networking equipment, and storage systems
- Execute structured cabling, rack and stack operations, and equipment decommissioning
- Monitor data center infrastructure including power, cooling, and environmental systems
- Respond to on‑site technical incidents and escalations to minimize downtime
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
- Maintain accurate documentation of assets, configurations, and work orders using DCIM tools
- Coordinate with remote teams and vendors to support hardware deployments and upgrades
- 3+ years of experience in data center operations, IT field services, or related technical role
- Hands‑on experience with server hardware, network switches, and patch panel cabling
- Familiarity with data center standards including power distribution, cooling, and physical security
- Ability to read and follow technical diagrams, floor plans, and work order documentation
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail in a mission‑critical environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in raised‑floor or confined data center environments
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certifications are a plus
