MainDuties & Responsibilities
Position Summary: The Assembly Machine Operator is responsible for operating the Assembly and Molding machines. In addition, the operator troubleshoots minor operating difficulties including: analyzing machine operations, inspection of products, locating troublesome elements within machines, and making necessary adjustments to eliminate quality variations and malfunctions.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Ability to judge quality in all aspects.
- Ability to read and understand job orders.
- Ability to complete data entry activities as needed & record production and maintain records.
- Provide timely and complete communication with Team Leaders and all other impacted operational and functional teams regarding quality or mechanical issues.
- Ability to meet production standards consistently once trained.
- Ability to make minor adjustments to machines to maintain quality standards.
- Inspect and pack finished parts properly.
- Ability to distinguish between different colors and shades of color.
- Ability to detect small defects as in scratches, dents, smudges, etc.
- Compiles data associated with the performance of production equipment for reporting purposes.
- Checks in-process and completed materials for compliance.
